1. What is Kisako's Customized Immersion Course?

This course helps learners of the Japanese language acquire and enhance critical communication skills in a short period of time. The course is customized to each learner's needs and interests. For example, Kisako can arrange for learners to stay with a Japanese host family at one or more of the locations listed below, or help learners find their own temporary housing during the course.

In addition to language lessons, the course can include field exercises or cultural education sessions if you are interested in delving more deeply into particular aspects of Japanese culture and society.

2. Who should participate in this course?

Kisako's Customized Immersion Course is ideal for people who want to begin learning Japanese or improve their Japanese language skills, but who cannot commit to study on a regular basis or spend an extended period of time in Japan.

3. How long does the course last?

The length of the course can be adjusted to your schedule and goals. There is no minimum length of time, but we recommend at least one week.

4. Where does the course take place?

Whether you prefer to be among the skyscrapers of Tokyo, the ancient temples of Kyoto, or the mountains of Hokkaido, Kisako can arrange a home-stay that fits your interests. You can choose any of these locations:

The Kanto area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Gunma);
The Kansai area (Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto);
Hokkaido (Sapporo);
Shikoku (Tokushima);
Kyushu (Fukuoka)

5.What is the content of the course?

Kisako will customize every aspect of the course to your study background, needs, preference of learning method, and interests. Kisako's staff consists of highly-qualified and experienced Japanese teachers who provide language education at every level from beginner to advanced. Kisako also uses a variety of teaching materials and methods, depending on whether learners are focused on basic Japanese, business Japanese, training to excel at Japanese proficiency exams, or other goals.
